Roger Salway
Executive Director

Roger joined CTI as the Executive Director in September 2008 after serving as the Vice Chair on the Board of Directors. Roger’s previous experience includes senior management experience in Europe and North America for Deere & Co. and more than 25 years of global manufacturing and leadership experience. He was formerly COO of Paper Calmenson & Co., a St. Paul-based steel products manufacturer, and was Executive Vice President for Capacity Web, a technology based company that facilitated efficient global industrial manufacturing and sourcing. Roger is on the board of Quantum Connections and serves as President of the board of the Rose Ensemble.

Bert Rivers
Vice President of Operations

Bert is a Canadian by birth, a graduate metallurgical engineer by education, a professional executive by training and is now committed to CTI's mission of fighting hunger and poverty. Bert brings over forty years of pragmatic problem solving in the international steel industry to his current role as Vice President of Operations. Bert has served on numerous Boards and committees of not-for-profit, professional and for profit organizations. Bert is responsible for all external contacts with our vendors, partners and associates, as well as the distribution channels for our devices.

Anne-Marie Hendrickson
Vice President of Development and Communications

Anne-Marie joined CTI after several years of active volunteering with the Junior League of St. Paul (including serving on the board) and other organizations. She previously worked in the insurance and trust industries where she most recently managed irrevocable life insurance trusts for US Bank. Her keen interest in philanthropy and helping others help themselves drew her to CTI, where she assists with development and promoting the organization.   

Nancy Wagner
Director of Development Programs

Nancy comes to CTI with many years of development experience, most recently at Kinship of Greater Minneapolis and Feed My Starving Children. She has been an active volunteer for over 40 years and is passionate about helping organizations meet the basic needs of children and the vulnerable, both locally and in developing countries. Nancy works on developing and strengthening CTI’s relationships with churches and civic organizations along with helping to expand our individual donor base and assisting with special events.

Meghan Fleckenstein
Communications Manager

Meghan's passion for international development and human rights led her to pursue a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Michigan State University. Prior to working at CTI, Meghan served as Communications Intern at the Center for Victims of Torture. Meghan was drawn to CTI because she feels strongly that providing practical solutions to help subsistence farmers become self-sufficient is an essential component for relieving global poverty.

Brigette Blesi
Supply Chain Associate

Brigette has been involved with CTI as a volunteer for several years because of her interest in international development, and has a passion for assisting the poor through improved sanitation and other means. She recently joined the staff to perform duties related to technology development and production. She has B.A. degrees in Biology and Sociology from Bethel University, and an M.A. from Saint Cloud State University in Sustainable Development. Her varied work experiences range from community organizer, manufacturing worker, and receptionist.

Mounir Njah
Mechanical Design Engineer

Mounir has spent the past 20 years working as a Mechanical Design Engineer in Minnesota and Tunisia. After learning of CTI through his involvement with the Inventors’ Network, Mounir first joined CTI as a volunteer with the New Products Committee, which presented an opportunity for Mounir to use his passion for developing new technologies to benefit impoverished communities around the world. Mounir is fluent in English, French and, Arabic, and is originally from Tunisia, where he received his Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Engineering School of Monastir.
